Elliot Cooper was born on June 15, 2025, which was Father’s Day. (My children like to be born on or around the holidays. Izzy was born on the day before Mother’s Day.)
I went into labor with Cooper right after a family session. I had a couple of Braxton Hicks contractions during the session but shrugged it off. Once I sat in my car to leave was when I started having regular contractions. I drove home and called the Labor and Delivery department. They told me to get back in the car and come to the hospital.
Cooper was born at 6:15pm that day. He weighed 9lbs 14oz and was 22 inches long. The first thing the nurses and doctors told me was, “Oh mama those cheeks!” He had and still has the biggest kissable cheeks.
My husband Adam took these photos a day or two after Cooper was born.
He is so precious!!
